Los nominados a los premios Oscar 2017

La La Land consiguió 14 nominaciones a los Premios Oscar 2017, empatando el record que marcaron Titanic (1997) y All About Eve (1950). En el anuncio que se hizo esta mañana en una transmisión vía streaming, Moonlight, La llegada (ambas con 8) y Sin nada que perder (4) se ubicaron como las principales rivales de la película dirigida por Damien Chazelle.
En la categoría Mejor Película también figuran Talentos ocultos (Hidden Figures), Hasta el último hombre (Hacksaw Ridge), Un camino a casa (Lion), Fences y Manchester junto al mar (Manchester by the Sea).
Los directores de La La Land, La llegada y Moonlight -Damien Chazelle, Denis Villeneuve y Barry Jenkins- fueron nominados en la categoría Mejor Director con Mel Gibson por Hasta el último hombre y Kenneth Lonergan por Manchester junto al mar.
Los protagonistas de La La Land, Emma Stone y Ryan Gosling, buscarán quedarse con el Oscar a Mejor Actriz y Mejor Actor, respectivamente, como pasó en los Globo de Oro.
Stone enfrentará a Natalie Portman (Jackie), Isabelle Huppert (Elle), Ruth Negga (Loving) y Meryl Streep (por su trabajo en Florence Foster Jenkins alcanzó su vigésima nominación). Mientras tanto, Gosling compite con Casey Affleck (Manchester junto al mar), Andrew Garfield (Hasta el último hombre), Viggo Mortensen (Capitán Fantástico) y Denzel Washington (Fences).
La 89° entrega se realizará el 26 de febrero en el teatro Dolby de Los Angeles y contará con Jimmy Kimmel como host.
